International Day of the Girl

The world is home to more the 1.1 billion girls under age 18 who are poised to become the largest generation of female leaders, entrepreneurs and change-makers the world has ever seen. Each year, CMSM marks this event by hosting an International Day of the Girl celebration along with Mayo Clinic Health System medical professionals and other regional leaders. In coordination with the global agenda for advancing the rights and empowerment of women and girls everywhere, CMSM will provide activities and experiences that support the social-emotional well-being and career aspirations of girls regionally.
