Join us for the Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota’s 5th annual free outdoor event, Fire Safety Education Day! Tour emergency vehicles, view presentations inside the Museum and out, giveaways, photo opportunities with Smoky the Bear and much more! In addition to our local and surrounding area fire departments joining us, the Sheriff, DNR and Ambulance teams will also be there!
Map Your Exit for a Chance to Win!
Children are invited to design their family’s home fire escape plan for a chance to win a Sparky the Fire Dog plush! Download and print the “Map Your Exit Plan” PDF, draw your home with two safe exits and a meeting spot, then return it to the Museum on Saturday, August 2. All participants will receive a Junior Fire Safety Certificate from Sparky. Fire safety starts with a plan!
