Bike Safety Clinic

Date

May 02 2026

Time

9:00 am - 2:00 pm

The Bike Safety Clinic is a fun, hands-on experience designed to help children develop the skills and knowledge they need to ride safely and confidently. Facilitated by local safety experts and cycling enthusiasts, this program promotes age-appropriate road safety, bike handling, and helmet use education.

During the clinic, children will bring their own bikes to participate in interactive stations. They’ll learn how to properly fit a helmet, check their bike for safety, and practice riding skills through obstacle courses and traffic-safety simulations. With guidance from friendly instructors, kids will explore topics such as hand signals, road rules, and visibility, all while enjoying a supportive and encouraging environment.

The Bike Safety Clinic fosters independence, confidence, and awareness, empowering children and families to make biking a safe and enjoyable part of everyday life.

Interactive stations could include

  • Helmet Fitting Station with FREE Helmets (while supplies last!)
  • Safety Town riding course
  • Adaptive bikes
  • Injury Prevention
  • Bike Wash
  • Helmet Sticker Station
  • Basic Bike Repair and Maintenance Demos
  • Hydration Station
