Blotto Painting | CMSMatHome

Good morning from #CMSMatHome!

Let’s do blotto painting together. You’ll need a piece of paper, a paintbrush, sponge, or a stick, and some paint.

First, fold the paper in half, then open it back up and paint blobs or shapes on one side. Fold the paper again, press on it with the palms of your hands, then open it up to see what you’ve created.

Further Your Learning

  • Add lines to your design with crayons or markers after it dries.
  • Use more than one fold
  • Paint one eye, half a nose, half a mouth, then fold your paper.
