As CMSM’s Custodian, you will be responsible for performing a variety of custodial and housekeeping functions to maintain the cleanliness and care of the Museum. This position reports to the Buildings and Grounds Manager and is a member of the Museum Experiences and Environments team. This position is a non-exempt, part-time position working approximately 2 days and 6 hours per week, primarily during early mornings or evenings on both weekdays and weekends. This position is the first point of contact for Museum visitors and oversees the Museum’s front desk, café, and gift shop while on duty. Playworkers facilitate gallery and exhibit experiences by enthusiastically interacting with and engaging children and families. This is a part-time position, 10 – 12 hours per week. The Museum Generalist will provide high-level support to CMSM’s team of Directors in a fast-paced environment. Key attributes include knowledge of a wide variety of technology platforms, commitment to improvement of CMSM processes, attention to detail, and maintaining a positive attitude while addressing the unexpected. Reporting to the Director of Memberships and Guest Services, this position is full-time (40 hours per week), non-exempt, and eligible for CMSM benefits.
