From Tuesday, April 9, through September of this year, the Museum’s rotating space will be filled with hands-on exhibit components focusing on the well-being of children and families. A Healthy Me includes a doctor’s office, giant sneezing nose, as well as a variety of activities that explore mental health, medical technology, healthy lifestyle choices, assistive devices, dental health, and more.
The Museum’s young visitors (and their adults!) will have an opportunity to perform surgeries, explore germs, try out braces and wheelchairs, learn about 7 Super Skills to Help a Friend, and role play as nurses, patients, doctors, or parents.
This exhibit is made possible by the generous monetary support of the following sponsors: Limb Lab, Mankato Clinic, Mayo Clinic Health System, Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic, Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation, Delta Dental of Minnesota, Pediatric & Adolescent Dentistry, Commerce Drive Dental Group, Monarch Healthcare Management, Oak Terrace Senior Communities, and Oz Family Dentistry.
