Musikgarten for Preschoolers/Toddlers | Fall 2026
- Sep 08 2026
- 9:30 am - 10:15 am
This 45-minute class connects the child’s world with the natural world while nurturing the emerging independence of three-and four year olds. Activities include singing, stories and rhymes, listening games, playing instruments, patterns to echo, and movement games, all of which promote musical development while satisfying the child’s need to learn in a creative, holistic environment. In this class, children progress to a new level where they are able to play rhythm and melody patterns on instruments, sing entire songs, create their own movement and instrument ideas, verbalize and describe their ideas, promoting language learning.
Parents stay for the class, although some of the activities are designed to encourage the children to participate independently of their parents.
Optional materials are available for $50 and include the recordings (2 CDs plus digital downloads), a parent book with songs, poetry and educational tidbits and 12 animal cards. Please contact Anja at anjamusikgarten@gmail.com if interested.
